The below Internal Strength Chart, which is a function of all 41 Sectors, has provided all the Buy /Sell turning points. It appears to provide better timing results then all the other Indicators. If you know of a better Indicator, please let me know about it. Thanks.

SelectSectors Index( SSx ) Hurst Oscillator

The below chart is a comparison of the S&P500 and the SelectSectors Index ( SSx ) which is the composite of all " 41 Sectors.

The SSx has approximately the same functional form as the S&P500, but has a higher "Beta", so that it will outperform on the Upside but crash harder on the downside.

Several articles pointed out that major indexes have a lot of non-stocks in them and questioned the usefulness of the NYSE composite, etc. This motivated me to generate cleaner data. With the Fidelity Sectors we have a set of 41 active funds. I have used their daily closing NAVs to construct a new Summation Index.
